YouTube and Google Account Data

When you connect your YouTube channel to Makefy through Google OAuth, we collect the following data from your Google account and YouTube channel:

Google Account Information: Your Google account email address and name (if provided)
YouTube Channel Data: Your YouTube channel ID, channel metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, publish dates), and basic video statistics
YouTube Analytics Data: Analytics metrics including views, watch time, audience retention, click-through rates (CTR), geographic data, device information, and other performance metrics
OAuth Tokens: Encrypted access tokens that allow us to read data from YouTube APIs on your behalf

Important: Makefy uses only read-only OAuth scopes ( https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly). We never post, edit, delete, or upload content to your YouTube channel. All access is read-only for the purpose of providing analytics and recommendations.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on Our Service and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze Our Service.

Use of Your Personal Data

Retention of Your Personal Data

YouTube Data and OAuth Tokens: When you disconnect your YouTube channel from Makefy, we immediately revoke access to your OAuth tokens and stop collecting new data from YouTube APIs. Cached analytics data and stored tokens are deleted within 30 days of disconnection or account deletion. You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time through your account settings.

Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You. You may update, amend, or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account and visiting the account settings section.

Disconnecting YouTube: You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time through your account settings. This will immediately revoke our access to your YouTube data and OAuth tokens. All cached YouTube analytics data will be deleted within 30 days.

Account Deletion: To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, including YouTube data, please contact us at makefyai@gmail.com. We will process your request and delete all personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information by law.

Security of Your Personal Data

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

OAuth Token Security: All OAuth tokens used to access YouTube APIs are stored encrypted at rest. These tokens are used solely to read data from YouTube APIs on your behalf and are never shared with third parties. Access to tokens is restricted to authorized personnel and systems necessary to provide the Service.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Data, including:
